British Operation Against Illegal Migrants Sees Many Indians Being Arrested
In a shocking development, from Indian perspectives–and during an operation targeted against those homeless persons who reportedly sleep underneath a Heston, West London based bridge—the immigration officers of Britain took into custody 16 Indians believed to be living in an unauthorized way in the country.
According to the British Home Office, during the said operation, all of those who were arrested were males, and they were taken into custody for a plethora of immigration crimes even as attempts would be taken to send them back to India sooner than later.
Meanwhile–and talking about the development–the British immigration minister was quoted as saying that it is one instance of the hard action being taken by the concerned authorities throughout the nation to come across and take away those who could be staying inside the nation in an unauthorized manner.
Mark Harper, the minister, further said that the government is also leaving no stones unturned whatsoever to make it comparatively tougher for the unlawful immigrants to benefit from free medical care, financial services, besides access to a host of government sponsored benefits. He added that the organizations found recruiting unauthorized overseas people may
be slapped with hefty fines–to the tune of 10,000 British pounds per unlawful employee.
Harper continued that those–who lacked the legal right to remain inside the
nation–must leave the nation on their own, adding in case such people fail to do so, the administration will have no option except to implement their removal from the country.
According to the UK Home Office, since the month of May this year, a dedicated operation run by the involved organization of the nation has seen over 2,000 London based overstayers departing from the country, even while this included over 700 enforced returns.
