Canada Express Entry Program 2015 for Migrants Begins in Jan 2015

Attention all Canada immigration-motivated would-be immigrants! Before long you will be in a position to present an application for the popular Express Entry Scheme for Canada, under the latest and the much awaited scheme, which is expected to come into force from January 1, 2015. It effectively means that after just a few days the scheme will be up for grabs.

The current Citizenship and immigration Canada (CIC) Minister Chris Alexander has reportedly asked Canadian employers to gear-up for the new Express Entry Program. In order to make the scheme successful and move swiftly, meetings with stake holders and business leaders are being held across the nation, at the present.

Canada Express Entry Program 2015–also known as the ‘Expression of Interest’–will provide an easy entry to the would-be migrants and to the government even as the employers will jointly pick migrants, on the basis of their skills and attributes that the country requires. As per the program, prospective migrants will submit an application to express their interest in migrating to the Maple Leaf Country, by simply answering a set of questions about their education, professional skills, languages efficiency, etc.

Thereafter, the program will match the skills of the applicants with the Canadian labor requirements identified by the provinces, territories, and the employers. And, on finding an eligible candidate, the CIC will offer Express Entry to the former who has applied through any of these popular Canadian visa and immigration schemes:

1. Federal Skilled Workers Program

2. Federal Skilled Trades Program

3. Canadian Experience Class Program

4. Business Class Program

Canada Express Entry Program 2015 for Migrants is essentially based on a similar program successfully run and managed by the government of New Zealand and Australia. While people wait for an official announcement from the CIC as to how this program will work, we do have some idea on how the program works in New Zealand and Australia, and how Canada’s Express Entry program may operate:

1) Each applicant will submit an “express of their interest” to migrate to the overseas destination.

2) There may be point criteria for which each will qualify.

3) If a candidate is found eligible, he may enter a pool of candidates qualified to migrate to the nation.

4) Thereafter, he will be invited to ‘apply’, based on his specific credentials.

5) Once an ‘invitation’ is duly issued or made available, he will be able to file his petition for the prized and the much sought after Canadian Permanent Residence (PR).

As per the latest plan, that officially kick-starts from Jan 2015, the Canadian government will choose the finest talents who stand a fairly good chance of being successful in the Maple Leaf Country, and will increase the local Job Bank. To make the program rather successful, an investment of over 14 million dollars will be made in the next two years. All qualified applicants can expect the completion of their application within just six months or so.

Unlike the Canada Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), the scheme neither has a restriction of cap nor has it to follow a list of occupations. Each applicant will be assessed individually on the basis of his personal credentials, and unlike other programs, the Express Entry Program will be easily open and available for all professionals. The much awaited program will provide a smooth entry to the popular immigration hotspot, or so it is claimed by those ‘in the know’.

Significantly, the scheme has many plus points, like; for instance, quick processing, large accessibility to applicants from different fields, and a sharp focus on the overall quality of migrants. It is expected that the program will be successful across many countries even while the CIC will productively manage to meet the demands of the Canadian labor market, and produce a huge job bank for local employees.
