What is Canada Express Entry Programme?
Canada has opened a new immigration initiative with the start of the year. This initiative is addressed as Express Entry programme. Now, you may ask: what is Canada Express Entry Programme? Well, it is one of the pioneering, and at the same time, unprecedented steps that the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), a governing body of immigration, has streamlined.
This programme will guarantee that skilled movement takes place to the Maple Leaf Country this year to meet with the labor shortage. Under this programme, trained experts, with internationally recognized college degrees, can shift to the immigration hotspot, work there, and at the same time, avail permanent residence (PR) if they so desire.
This scheme will facilitate movement under three category, and through lucky draws, as many as 1,80,000 applicants will end up either landing up in the country, the first step and the next becoming the citizen here, if they so desire. With the help of this scheme, immigrants, representing any country, can move under three categories:
1. Federal Skilled Workers Programme (FSWP)
2. Federal Skilled Trades Programme (FSTP)
3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
For availing any of these three categories, the first and the foremost thing that you are needed to do is create an Express Entry profile. The moment you are stepping into the window of Canadian immigration system, you will be able to get Express Entry profile opening there. Once the window appears, there will be certain basic questions that would be required to be filled.
The profile considers your experience, educational qualifications, language proficiency, IELTS score, and based on those inputs, it will assess your eligibility for movement. In case you are found to be qualified, you will be categorized based on the information that you have provided, and your name will appear in the Canada Express Entry Pool.
The pool will be short listing you and figuring out the programme that goes along with your education, experience and language proficiency. Once they are through with that, then you will be asked to move to the nation. You can be either sponsored by any employer, based in any of the province in Canada, or you can also move under Canada Experience Class (CEC) and seek any job that fits your education and experience there. Once you have move to the wonderful overseas destination, then you will get the chance to be deemed as its permanent citizen and in order to achieve that pursuit, you can apply for PR.
Under the Express Entry Scheme, the process and every other formality will require just 60 days for getting everything streamlined. The Canadian authorities are highly enthusiastic this time, and they are giving their real efforts to make sure that maximum people can make it to the nation. Unlike the past, this time more draws are getting conducted, and more scope of movement is unfolding. So, all you need to do is ask what is Express Entry Programme, and with fingers crossed apply for the same.
