Is language test optional?
No, language test is not obligatory but mandatory. Each applicant has to appear for language test in order to determine his language proficiency in any of the two national languages. Each economic program under Express Entry Program has a set numbers to be scored. Very often, aspirants prefer to appear for IELTS for English language and TEF for French. Once a candidate successfully enters the Express Entry Pool, he may earn few extra points by appearing for another language test and obtaining the better scores.
