How can you apply for Canada Express Entry?

Canada is one of the finest destinations in the world to live. The immigrants while settled in Canada gets health and retirement benefits. They can avail free education for their children. Those persons can sponsor their relatives to join them in Canada. They can live, work and study in any Canadian territory or province. The persons who have applied for Canadian visa can be relocated in six months as Canada has introduced the Express Entry System.

Express Entry System has been started from 1st January 2015. Persons having skilled work experience of even one year are also eligible to apply and get migrated to Canada under this program. A person who wants to get settled and work in Canada has got an opportunity through this program. Express Entry is a fast, simplified and efficient system to select and offer permanent residence to the skilled and qualified workers to Canada.

Express Entry is a two step process.

In the first step: The candidate who wants to apply for permanent residency has to create his / her profile online.  Whoever meets the entry criteria across 347 occupations can submit the expression of interest profile to the Express Entry Pool. The qualifications needed includes, education, age, work experience, language proficiency and other factors.

Measuring the human capital contribution to Canada, the profiles of the candidates are ranked in the pool under a Comprehensive Ranking System. Those candidates who don’t have a provincial nomination or a job offer must also submit their employment profile with the Canada Job Bank.

In the second step:     the candidate receives their invitation to apply for permanent residence. In the Express Entry Pool, those Canadian employers who are unable to access Canadians for hire are encouraged to provide a job offer to the candidates who are of their choices. Those candidates who are having provincial nominations or job offers receive the highest rank.

In the pool, the assessment of the profile of all candidates is done against others. They are categorized as per ranking from top to bottom: First those who are offered a job by Canadian Employer, Second: those who are having provincial nomination and Last: Those who are without job offers.  Those candidates who have received an invitation have to submit their full application within 60 days. Throughout the year, the invitations get issued during periodic draws. Approximately within six months, the successful applicants and their dependents get processed.

If the candidate does not receive an invitation, their profile will remain for 12 years in the Express Entry Pool. After that those candidates can re-submit their new profile, who meets the minimum criteria. To improve the chances to get selected under Express Entry pool, one must improve his or her language proficiency in English. And French as well. The candidate must assess their foreign credentials to Canadian standards. There is neither a deadline to complete a profile nor caps on the number of candidates to be accepted in the pool.
