Record breaking number of invitations issued by P.E.I in latest draw

1,583 invitations to Express Entry and Labour Impact were issued to the applicants by the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island over the last 12 months. The province of Prince Edward Island has welcomed 345 economic immigration applicants to apply for a provincial nomination. On August 20, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP).

A total amount of categories of Express Entry and Labour Impact of P.E.I were called in the latest draw. The provincial nominee program of P.E.I did not specifically let out the fact on the number of Express Entry applicants who were invited to apply. Yet another 32 entrepreneur applicants were invited via PEI’s Business Impact: Work Permit Stream.

This very component of provincial nominee program of Canada permits participating provinces and territories to nominate a set number of economic immigration candidates for permanent residence every year. This category of P.E.I PNP is aligned with federal Express Entry system, which operates the three chief economic categories of Canada namely the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.

The Express entry of P.I.E s PNP IS aligned with the Express Entry system of the government with all the eligible applicants given their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on the multiple factors of age, work experience, proficiency in English or French, as well as other additional factors such as arranged employment and a genuine intention to reside in Prince Edward Island.

Applicants from the Express Entry category who get their provincial nomination receive an extra 600 CRS points and are assured the confirmation of Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in a following Express Entry draw.
